T-shirt embroidery, like printing, is a method of customising plain t-shirts. Like printing, we transfer your designs to your choice of t-shirt or garment, in the colours you choose. However, instead of ink, when we embroider t-shirts, we use thread.

When we receive your design for t-shirt embroidery, there is a process of transforming the image to a digital format, which our computer systems can ‘read.’ Those computers run embroidery machines, and those machines create an exact duplicate of your design on the t-shirt or garment of your choice, in embroidery stitches. The fabric around the embroidery itself is strengthened by using backing, so that it can support the stitches, and the design can be as complex or simple as you choose.

One of the reasons that t-shirt embroidery is popular among our clients is that it is usually longer lasting than printing. Even years later, when prints have cracked or faded, embroidery looks as good as new (in fact, it’s likely that the t shirt will give up before the embroidery does!)
